We run a very simplified seasonal menu in our café, we serve breakfasts, mid-morning homemade cakes or tea cakes from Leakers bakery, lunches, afternoon teas. There is also our seasonal childrens' healthy nibbles meal which contains a selection of fruits, salad items, bread or savoury crackers, cheese all really colourful and appealing.

We change our menus monthly, this way we can work with the seasons and make the best of what is available on our doorstep. Feedback is excellent from our customers on our coffees, we use Reads of Sherborne. We serve loose teas, not just Assam, but also green tea, elderflower, Earl grey, summer berries, apple, and lots more. There are also lots of lovely bottled drinks in the chiller, such as Elderflower bubbly, Pear Juice, Somerset Apple Juice, Bumbleberry Juice….. oh and don't forget our non dairy smoothies- mango and lime, raspberry, apricot and orange.

A good bit of what we sell in our shop is made in house, cakes, sweet biscuits and savoury crackers, salad dressings, chutneys, marmalades, savoury jellies, quiches, scones, salad dressings, pies made using meat from our local butcher, Holebrooks, Margot also likes to make all sorts of Foccacios given the time, these can vary from Basil, Mozzarella and tomato or Pear, stilton and walnut or wild garlic, rock salt and rosemary or beetroot, sour cream, pomegranite molasses and spiced pistachio. We also sell local products by other food producers, such as Leakers bakery bread and tea cakes, Reads coffee of Sherborne, Hazelbury bryan Honey, Olives et al snacks and olives, Buttercup and Daisy Icecream, Cann Mills flour.

We also produce a lot of food for our customers who do not require any kind of service at their party either ordered over the phone or come in and chat about your requirements (we will even allow you to say you made it, if you bring in your dishes beforehand!!). Just get in touch and we can provide you with some sample menus and prices.

Alternatively, why not book our Café for your private party? We can seat up to about 30 people or more if standing buffet.
